What you’ll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest, and most successful brands at Future, and work alongside a team of passionate space enthusiasts. You’ll write for Space.com about all things astronomy, skywatching, spaceflight, space tech, sci-fi and more, with a focus on space science. You'll have the opportunity to cover live events, present to video, and interview experts within the space community for your articles.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of reliable, informative and trustworthy space journalism, working in a talented and passionate team. As Staff Writer you'll be writing, optimising, and uploading space articles every day. You’ll work with the Editor-in-Chief to fulfil the needs of the site, using your knowledge to create best in class features and news.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

Excellent written English, and a strong knowledge of writing for the web.
Great knowledge of space topics, an ability to research and learn, and previous experience of writing about the subject matter.
The ability to work within a fast-paced news environment, and juggle multiple assignments.
A good list of contacts in the space industry is preferable, but not required.
