Sports Reporter

A growing news organization in northern Wisconsin is seeking a self-motivated sports writer/photographer who will cover the local sports scene for The Northwoods River News, a multi-weekly publication based in Rhinelander. The reporter will work as part of a composite editorial staff to bring home the story that tells more than just the headline. Job duties would include, but are not limited to, covering area high school sports, as well providing up-to-date information and stories about area middle schools and community sports. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Writing and photography experience is preferred.
