Delaware's rural communities in Kent and western Sussex counties are among the state's least covered by media, obscuring the actions of many town councils and limiting the voice of the hundreds of thousands of residents who live in these areas to affect public policy. The rural communities reporter will spend time in these areas, covering their governments, land use debates and concerns with economic development, the environment and health care, among others.
Salary and Benefits:
$60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
Health insurance starting on day 1, retirement plans, four weeks of paid time off (combined vacation and sick), 12 paid holidays, and two floating holidays.
This position will be:
Hybrid (some days in the office per week)
