We are looking for an experienced Digital Editor to join our global Corporate Communications team. The ideal candidate: You have a journalistic background, with experience writing for all digital platforms, including web, social and video/audio scripts. You can combine this experience with your web savvy to create engaging online experiences for our audiences. You thrive in an agile work environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing priorities. Also, you can influence and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support content and digital strategies.
Key Duties:
Digital Content Editor
Consult and manage content and channel strategies for multichannel corporate campaigns, ensuring content meets company goals, channel strategies and target audience expectations
Write and edit high-quality content for the corporate website, social media, podcasts and video
Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligns with the company's messaging and branding guidelines
Review and edit content submitted by other team members or external contributors to maintain consistency and quality
Collaborate with communications experts for internal and external audiences/channels as a part of one of our cross-functional Content Lab teams, as well as stakeholders in our business lines, functions and regions, to ensure content aligns with the company's objectives and values
Corporate Web Strategist
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for our corporate website, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure we address the needs of multiple audience segments
Manage and train other editors on our content management system (CMS) to publish and manage website content efficiently.
Monitor web analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and rankings
Collaborate with the webmaster to maintain and update the website's CMS, plugins, and integrations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in digital communications, journalism, marketing or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
7 – 10 years’ proven experience as a digital editor, content strategist, or similar role
Excellent writing and editing skills for web and social
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), web publishing tools, social media management tools (e.g., Khoros)
Experience working closely with a webmaster and/or technical team
Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute ideas effectively.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Some international travel required
