Assistant Local News Editor

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is seeking an editor to help guide our local news coverage and work with reporters to produce urgent, engaging and enterprising content. You will help plan daily coverage, oversee breaking news stories and oversee long-term investigative projects for all of our platforms, including digital and print. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, helping sharpen reporters' writing and developing coverage plans. We want someone who is equally adept at working in a fast-paced environment, fielding breaking news, as well as developing strong enterprise ideas.
