Staff Writer

C & G Newspapers is looking for a full-time staff writer who can cover local government, schools, police and fire departments, and human interest features in metro Detroit. Candidates must be able to meet deadlines and manage time well in order to write several stories per week. Our reporters work flexible schedules to meet the demands of their assignments and have the ability to work remotely part of the time. A strong candidate will have a bachelor's degree, a background in journalism and a working knowledge of AP style. Photo skills are a plus.
