Financial Reporter

We are looking for a passionate financial news reporter to participate in the complete creative cycle of a news story by investigating and writing rich and unbiased scoops, idea summaries, and interviews focused around the SumZero’s universe and its fund professional membership.

The reporter’s core responsibility is to source/identify original story ideas from the SumZero platform, and synthesize those ideas into compelling, engaging content for mass distribution. The reporter should be skilled at nurturing sources, building personal networks, collecting, verifying and analyzing thoroughly newsworthy information, and assembling findings into a compelling story. The reporter must have the self-discipline to write and deliver news stories with a niche reader’s perspective in mind on a regular schedule without the direct oversight of an Editor.
