Sports Reporter

Syracuse.com and The Post-Standard are looking for an enterprise reporter to join our award-winning sports team covering college sports and other meaty topics. It’s the perfect job for a sports journalist who has relentless curiosity and an edge, and isn’t afraid to do the tough stories about teams, coaches and administrators. We want someone who can produce coverage with impact, build sources and break news. You’ll be joining a team that includes accomplished reporters, including two New York Sportswriter of the Year winners and a member of the U.S. Basketball Writers Hall of Fame. This isn’t an entry-level job. To be considered, you’ll have to demonstrate that you’ve built sources and done in-depth reporting.
