Role: Managing Editor
Location: Lower Manhattan, New York City (In-Office Position)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our newsroom, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Play a pivotal role in writing and editing compelling stories about the latest and most exciting technology issues.
Write compelling stories across our sections.
Uphold and enhance our publication's high editorial standards.
Collaborate with the editorial team to develop innovative content strategies.
Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of journalism experience.
Strong editorial background with a knack for storytelling.
Ability to manage a dynamic newsroom environment effectively.
Technology journalism experience is preferred.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
