As a Technical Writer, you'll play a pivotal role in defining documentation standards, ensuring organization, and developing high-quality content for both technical and non-technical audiences. We're seeking an individual who can adeptly produce and structure documentation in various forms, including wikis, HTML, and auto-generated formats like self-documenting code and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal engineering and development teams to deeply understand our products and documentation requirements in the context of a quantitative and systematic hedge fund.
Create and maintain accurate, comprehensive technical documentation tailored to diverse audiences.
Craft and publish content on platforms like Confluence, utilizing self-documenting code tools such as Sphinx.
Structure and organize documentation for enhanced readability, discoverability, and collaborative editing.
Proactively identify and address documentation gaps or areas for improvement, holding teams accountable.
Harness generative AI tools to expedite documentation processes when applicable.
Contribute to the development of documentation strategies and workflow enhancements within the quantitative and systematic hedge fund framework.
Ensure documentation adheres to internal standards and guidelines.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the tech industry.
Familiarity with technology infrastructure, including cloud, networking, and Linux platforms.
Experience in financial services is a plus, especially within a quantitative and systematic hedge fund.
Proficiency in wiki-style documentation, linking, and structuring strategies.
Knowledge of HTML and other markup languages.
Familiarity with version control (git) and workflows is a plus.
