Scope:
Working with purchase requestors to define technical requirements and deliverables for documentation in Statements of Work
Completing all documentation required for successful entry of Purchase Requisitions, and follow on documentation required for award of Purchase Orders. This documentation typically includes a Statement of Work, Information Release Office review form, Derivative Classification review, Critical Application Item/Service checklist, sole-source justification when appropriate, and technical reviews.
Maintaining a tracking system of purchasing activities in progress, Purchase Requisition numbers entered as a result of efforts, Purchase Orders entered as a result of efforts, and fully awarded contracts as a result of efforts. Tracking of in-process and completed requisition efforts will be, at minimum, traceable to a Statement of Work or other documentation that defines scope.
Prioritize efforts based on the Company’s direction, which may come from the STR, PDRD management, buyers, or purchase requestors within the PDRD organization.
Requirements:
At minimum 4 years' experience in technical writing/procurement
Bachelor's degree (can substitute with Associate's degree and 2 additional years of experience)
This is a remote position, but the preference is for the ideal candidate to live within driving distance (no greater than 50 miles) of Oak Ridge, TN.
Must be a U.S. citizen, at this time we are not accepting applications from Visa or Green Card holders.
Pay Rate:
Annually as a W2 employee with benefits between $80,000 and $85,000
or
Hourly as a 1099 between $55 and $60
