Autodesk is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our Enterprise Analytics Experience (EAX) team, which is part of the Global Revenue Operations organization. The EAX team is responsible for building innovative data products and analytics solutions to support the business needs for Autodesk’s strategy, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
Our mission is to empower timely and accurate decisions using certified customer data & insights products and the technical writer role will play a critical role in democratizing the data & insights across Autodesk.
Responsibilities
Create helpful, intuitive, and scalable documentations for data products for consumption by internal technical and non-technical stakeholders
Plan, create, and maintain user-facing documentation, including conceptual, referential, procedural, and quickstart guides and materials
Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to provide content for new features and continuously improve existing documentation based on stakeholder feedback and user research
Lead the team on important initiatives, which include reorganizing the documentation to be more accessible and useful to new users, rethinking how we can reuse content more efficiently, and establishing processes and guidelines to improve the contribution experience for the analytics community
Review and provide feedback on documentation contributions from EAX team members
Compassionately give and receive editorial and technical feedback
Can plan, prioritize, and carry out sizable writing projects with high attention to detail along the way
