Duties & Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will help create, edit and publish training and communications for manufacturing software applications.
This could include user guides, PowerPoint presentations, videos or Wiki articles.
Manufacturing experience is not required.
You will work with a geographically dispersed team of project managers, subject matter experts, change managers, manufacturing and software process engineers to edit, create, and publish training materials.
You will also help edit, create and publish communications to trainees, help facilitate remote training sessions, and publish recorded training sessions for future use.
You will work with a team of change managers, project managers, SMEs, and trainers to develop, edit and publish training related materials and publications such as the following.
Minimum Requirements:
Help create training PowerPoint slide decks, user guides, Wiki help articles, videos, and job aids for approximately 30 manufacturing applications based on rough drafts and inputs provided by SMEs.
Evaluate existing training material to determine what existing training materials could be used, and what materials need to be created, updated or customized to meet end user requirements.
Ensure training materials follow standardized templates and style guides editing for grammar, clarity, and conciseness using simple and elegant page design with screen captures that are easy to read and follow.
Create, edit, and voice how-to software training videos using Camtasia software.
Schedule, produce, and support remote training sessions.
Send training meeting invites to trainees and post training videos to intranet after complete.
Edit manufacturing processes and procedures, working closely with SMEs to ensure accuracy, conciseness, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
Communicate closely with a team of manufacturing process engineers who will develop manufacturing processes, and manufacturing software procedures, and turn their rough drafts into polished, simple documents.
Create, edit and publish emails, blog posts, training invitations and intranet sites and content.
Draft, edit, and publish effective communications such as emails and blog posts to help prepare employees for manufacturing process and software tool changes.
Coordinate reviews and changes with SMEs, leadership, and project managers as applicable.
