Our client needs a technical writer who can help with some Infrastructure/Security content. They have 20K devices that they want someone to help document services and security process.
Will be developing playbooks.
Responsibilities
• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension on information security related topics.
• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately documented.
• Analyze information required for the development or update of information security policy, procedure, and form documentation.
• Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
• Develop documentation that follows a common policy and provide the framework for the State of Maine
Must Have-
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of information security concepts
• Knowledge of information systems, concepts, and design techniques.
• Ability to develop plans, policies and procedures that meet regulatory compliance requirements
• Ability to gather, assemble, calculate, and analyze facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to analyze and interpret laws, rules, standards, and regulations. The skills to articulate policy guidance to all stakeholders is critical to this role.
• Knowledge of NIST Framework, especially NIST SP 800-53 would be a plus
