The world of technology has never been more exciting and TechRadar helps up to 30 million people around the globe find and use the tech they love every month. Our world-class experts live and breathe the latest technology, and like a trusted friend or advisor, we won't talk down to you or baffle you with jargon, instead offering clear, unbiased advice, plus tips and tricks culled from our rigorous in-depth testing.

We’re looking for a talented writer with a passion for getting hands on with the latest products to join our talented team of reviewers. You’ll be responsible for producing authoritative, well researched reviews in text, pictures and video form about everything from the very latest wireless earbuds to cutting-edge smartphones and more besides.

What you'll be doing…

As Staff Writer, Reviews at TechRadar, you'll work with the Reviews Editor to set priorities and agree reviews, write high quality reviews on key products and services, create and regularly update reviews content, especially during key seasonal periods such as Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day and organize and carry out effective, objective tests of products.

You'll write detailed reviews of your findings and take original photos of the products you are reviewing, collaborate with photographers and videographers to create video versions of your review and the highest quality assets to accompany articles, attend key industry events where required and establish strong industry contacts with leading companies to ensure we receive the latest products for review first.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

A keen interest and understanding of consumer tech products. We don’t expect you to be an expert initially, but you’ll grasp the challenge of becoming one very quickly.
Exceptional writing and editing skills – from the ability to write snappy headlines to tight grammar control, through to the ability to choose just the right image to attract readers.
Ability to deliver content quickly and efficiently.
An interest in and understanding of analytical and SEO tools.
Knowledge of and proficiency with social media platforms.
Self-motivation. The team is split across several offices and continents, so you’ll need to be able to work independently and be willing to attend meetings at other offices as required.
A tireless approach to success - you’ll be able to combine coming up with transformative ideas with a determined approach to ensure they are delivered.
