Television Editor

Located on St Kilda Road, Abode Entertainment is a dynamic TV production company creating content for US cable-television and for free-to-air and subscription TV here in Australia. Our recent growth has us looking to add an additional video editor to the post-production team. This is a six month role with the opportunity to stay on longer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an all-rounder position that will involve working on numerous shows as needed, as well as helping deliver content to TV networks and our distribution partners. The role is best suited someone who has two of the following:

-editing experience
-experience in editing unscripted television;
-experience delivering to networks.
We are however open to providing the necessary training to someone who can demonstrate an effective storytelling, an eagerness to learn, and has a keen eye for detail. Taking pride in one’s work is a non-negotiable.

YOUR SKILLS

-Must have strong organisational skills and attention to detail

-Creative thinker / visual storyteller

-Video editing experience (ideally in TV, but not essential)

-Self-motivated and able work effectively with minimal supervision
