Position Purpose:
Develops, edits and curates strategic enterprise messaging that aligns audiences to TVA’s vision, strategy and goals. Effectively explains company programs, business strategy, opportunities, initiatives and issues to diverse audiences. Protects, builds and enhances TVA’s reputation. Initiates and executes strategic communications plans. Develops and coordinates key messaging that resonates clearly with stakeholders.

Web Content
Curates and develops website and app content for TVA.com, serving as the de-facto chief copywriter and editor for the front door to TVA.
Provides strategic counsel to leaders in all BUs and SBUs related to TVA.com content, building out pages with content that supports critical programs throughout TVA and builds the brand among stakeholders.
Edits and promotes content through a wide array of communication channels.
Partners with experts to implement Communications solutions that meet the distinctive challenges of the business.
Advocates for the delivery of leading practice strategic communications.
Advises others on the development and implementation of integrated, effective strategic communications plans that build organizational capability and shape the culture in support of achieving enterprise strategic objectives.

7. Writes and edits a variety of communications to achieve objectives and deliver results.
8. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization, and the Public Information organization in particular, in accordance with Emergency Plan procedures. Supports on-call rotation for after-hours needs. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
