Role Overview

Working closely with the rest of the marketing team, the Digital Content Writer's main focus will be researching and producing lower funnel content that will drive sales in our business and convince prospects already in the funnel that our industry leading software is the solution for them.

This content will consist of guides, case studies, testimonials, comparison tables, pricing pages, webinars, blogsā€¦the list goes on! You will use everything at your disposal and within your realms of creativity to create interesting, helpful assets that will educate prospects at consideration stage, position ClassForKids as superior to our competitors and inspire confidence in our customer's purchase decision.

Day-to-day, you will:

Research and develop educational and creative content including guides, tools and resources for website, email and paid social campaigns focusing on the lower funnel
Use hands-on SEO experience and knowledge to craft fun, relevant, industry-specific website copy that will inspire confidence in purchase decisions (if you've read Marcus Sheridan's They Ask You Answer' bonus points!)
Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content across channels
Collaborate with other experts, influencers and content producers in the kid's activity sector to create content for guest blogging, Digital PR / link-building and marketing campaigns, managing and nurturing relationships as you go.
Work closely with product marketing to truly understand our software - why it's better, how it changes lives - translating that into content designed for easier sales enablement
Increase website and paid ad conversion rates by optimising existing web and paid ad copy
Continually monitor and review performance of content against target, optimising content plans and testing, measuring, and learning to find new approaches to move the needle.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

Strong copywriting skills, experience developing content and project managing the creative process, preferably in B2B software products.
Ability to understand and translate technical information into business benefits and thought leadership themes.
Editorial mindset with an ability to understand the audience's content preferences.
Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, customers and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics; must be extremely data-driven
Demonstrated experience of designing and executing strong inbound generation campaigns using a wide variety of media and mediums
Solid understanding of web publishing requirements
Strong research skills
Proven experience in content marketing
