Experience with story editing is helpful but not required, as is experience appearing in the media and speaking publicly about topical news.

Social engagement is a priority, and we are seeking a journalist who is eager to reach readers across a variety of channels and to create new audiences, including through audio and video.

This full-time, WBNG (CWA) union position is based in Washington, D.C., but may be worked remotely. Salary starts at $65,000 with a generous package of benefits. The collective bargaining agreement secures an annual raise.
