New Posted 9 December 2022 | US | The Associated Press (AP)

The Associated Press is an independent global news organization dedicated to factual reporting. Founded in 1846, AP today remains the most trusted source of fast, accurate, unbiased news in all formats and the essential provider of the technology and services vital to the news business. More than half the world's population sees AP journalism every day. The Associated Press is seeking a reporter with deep interest in the intersection of climate change, agriculture practice, policy and production to tell stories in all formats. We are looking for a journalist who can help people understand and relate to the dramatic transformations that are occurring in this arena in Midwestern states grappling with climate change as they consider their agriculture production. We’re looking for a storyteller: someone who can deliver smart, fact-based work on climate change that will inform people on the various ways that changing rainfall patterns, drought, and flooding are affecting agricultural productivity and food security. This journalist will also report on issues ranging from regenerative and climate-smart agriculture to nature-based solutions and the implementation of the Farm Bill, as well as the nexus between agriculture, water, and climate change.
