The Associated Press seeks a talented newsroom leader to work as a news editor for video in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will oversee the video report and video journalists who work in Washington, leading a team that is dedicated to crafting a video news report that is rich in exclusive spot news, compelling live video and distinct, deeply reported enterprise. You will work closely with text reporters and photojournalists, at times directing all-formats coverage, to serve AP's wide-ranging set of customers across the globe. You’ll search for new and unique ways to promote the best of AP’s video on social platforms, and you will lead discussions about how to best optimize video presentation on AP’s curated content distribution platforms and when to promote video-driven storytelling.
