Education Reporters

The Baltimore Banner is looking for education reporters to join a small team responsible for covering K-12 and higher education in Baltimore city, county and beyond. The ideal candidates are collaborative, ambitious and willing to experiment with storytelling in multiple forms on many platforms. Reporters should have excellent news judgment, strong reporting and writing skills and experience covering a beat. Knowledge of education issues and policy are a plus. We are a mission-driven organization focused on local news and improving the community. We expect all candidates to believe sincerely in that mission and to work collaboratively as a team.
