Political Writer

The Blade, a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper, is seeking a writer to handle its politics coverage. The reporter ideally should have experience in this field of reporting. This job will focus on both daily and enterprise political writing, with coverage in the Toledo area as well as work in Ohio and across the border into Michigan. The writer should expect some travel and opportunities for handling large political rallies and events. Topics will include following the outcomes of contested U.S. Senate and U.S. House races.
