Community Reporter

We are an ambitious, high-achieving newspaper looking to add a reporter to strengthen our team. The Chronicle-Telegram is an award-winning, seven-day-a-week publication in a competition-rich area. We set high goals and we aim to provide stories that get our readers thinking, talking and acting. We are known for holding public officials accountable just as much as we are known for rich, in-depth stories about the people and events that make Lorain County a unique place to live. Forewarning: The job is demanding. We need a reporter who knows what a story is, who can juggle a variety of stories each day and who has the ability to be aggressive in getting answers. You'll work hard, and you'll have great clips to show for it. Experience is preferred, but a recent college graduate with solid clips -- not papers written for a college class -- will be considered.
