Features, Food, Events, and Arts Reporter

The Gabber Newspaper, a family-owned, women-led newspaper covering South Pinellas County, seeks reporters to cover arts, features, events, and food. We're seeking reporters who want to help us tell our community's stories. We publish in print weekly and online daily. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, maintaining an events calendar, creating weekly newsletters, writing about food, people, and the arts, as well as some light news. We're looking for someone to bring us fresh ideas and be a contributing member of our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in the online world as well as the print one, and understands the realities of a small newsroom. This job will, from time to time, require weekends and nights. We are hiring freelance and staff reporters. This is a growth opportunity. For the successful candidate, this position will transition to full-time staff, with some editorial responsibilities.
