Social Producer

We aspire to have an inclusive working environment for all our staff, whatever their background, where their voices are heard and they have equal access to career development opportunities. We’re looking for a part time (3 days per week) Social Producer to grow the Guardian’s audience on our YouTube channels. The role will involve creating regular YouTube stories to promote Guardian video journalism and producing YouTube Shorts. This is a 12 month FTC or staff secondment. We’d like you to come up with creative and smart ways to promote Guardian videos within the YouTube community. Some recent examples include: our recent documentary: ‘Whose job is it to save the planet?’, our video news feature on the black Ukrainian starting again in Hungary, and our explainer on what the latest footage coming out of Iran means.
