The Hill is seeking an experienced editor to join its news desk and play a leading role in shaping its coverage of Congress, the White House and the 2022 midterm elections. We’re looking for an energetic candidate with at least five years of experience in editing. A background of covering Congress is a big plus. The job requires a high-level ability to spot news developments and trends, conceive of compelling stories, direct reporters clearly and effectively, shape and polish copy, write powerful headlines and work well with others.
