Sport Digital Production Journalist

i is looking for an experienced digital sport production journalist to join our growing newsroom. The successful candidate will help to publish brilliant sports journalism online, working across products and platforms to enhance our reporting and commentary. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious team at a key moment in i’s growth.
Main Responsibilities
Sub-edit content from our sports correspondents, writers, and freelance colleagues across i’s digital platforms.
Ensure all content published is optimised for the relevant digital audience, with a focus on our digital subscription’s strategy.
Occasional management of Sport homepage and social channels.
Ensure all editorial content adheres to i’s style guide and is legally and factually accurate.
Identify potentially sensitive content and escalate to senior editors where necessary.
Work closely with editors and colleagues to ensure a consistent tone of voice across co.uk and i's brand.
