We are looking for an experienced communications expert to help shape how we communicate about our business, our values, and our brands – with children as our role models.

Core Responsibilities

Support in the design, development and implementation of strategic global communication/PR plans and earned campaigns across all facets of the Global Brand & Portfolio Communications team.
Help drive forward the LEGO Group’s Global Brand & Portfolio Communications team’s storytelling/earned/comms campaigns across its core product portfolio, brand work, DEI campaigns and new business to expand its reach to wider audiences.
Build relationships and help to support activities across the PR network – helping to support our key global markets and stakeholders.
Collaborate with a broad network of partners across the business to deliver critical campaigns across the Owned, Earned, Shared & Paid (OESP) marketing mix.
Helps drive key tentpole PR/earned campaigns throughout the year.
Support in setting up best practice earned approaches to reach consumers in meaningful and impactful ways.
Liaise closely with other “earned” owners across social and influencer to collaborate and build the strongest plans to take to the markets, executing collaboratively.
Play a key role in helping bring the LEGO Group’s brand and mission to new audiences and spaces, helping future-proof the brand in the years ahead.
Grow relations with media in key markets to help promote our products and campaigns, proactively seeking opportunities to further our work through external communications.

The Communications Manager role sits within the growing Brand & Portfolio Communications team with plenty of room to help craft our ambition and plans and increase the influence of Earned PR across the wider business. You will be helping shape communications across all facets of the team which cut across the LEGO Group’s brand campaigns, our new business and innovation pipeline and core portfolio work.

Do you have what it takes?

Experience at an earned agency (PR, social, comms) or an in-house Corporate Communications/Consumer team.
Proven success working with media relations in a constantly evolving media landscape.
An understanding of the role Earned social can play alongside PR – with overall experience of how influencers and social channels can support campaigns.
An excellent and accomplished communicator and experience working for diverse, global companies (either in-house or as an agency client).
Consistent record of accomplishment of creating and leading external communications campaigns with outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organisational capabilities to navigate leading a variety of projects and key campaigns simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
Strong project management and execution skills and ability to drive with high attention to quality and detail.
A passion for working with earned/brand communications and storytelling, brand protection, and a constant aim to elevate the impact of Earned.
