This beat would focus on exploring religious communities in Maine, seeking to understand how they are changing, the impacts they are having on state and local politics and how they are engaging with religious entities at the national level.

Salary and Benefits:
$50,000-$55,000 depending on experience

$5,000 Annual Health stipend (taxable)
$35/month Cell phone stipend (nontaxable)
Retirement savings plan with a 3% employer match
Expense reimbursement, according to published policy
Short-term disability insurance (employer paid, taxable benefit)
15 days of paid time off in the first year of work; 20 days starting with the second year of employment.
6 personal/sick days.
Hybrid work and flex time

This position will be:
Hybrid (some days in the office per week)

Moving Stipend:
Reimbursement for moving expenses of up to $3,500 is available.
