General Assignment Reporter

The Marietta Daily Journal in metro Atlanta is looking for a committed journalist to fill a general assignment reporter opening. If you’re dedicated to our profession and recognize the importance of local news for a community, we want to hear from you.

Reporting, writing, photography skills necessary. Foremost, we want to interview strong writers. Knowledge of digital and social media is a plus. We are considering any level of candidate experience - from entry level to seasoned veteran.

The MDJ is a family-owned, award-winning newspaper that publishes in print five days/week (Tues.-Sat.) and online 24/7, serving Cobb County, Ga. It is the flagship of Times-Journal, Inc, which publishes three daily and 20 weekly newspapers and websites, all in Georgia.
