The Marietta Daily Journal, a print and digital media outlet in metro Atlanta, is seeking a versatile journalist to be editor of its Life & Style newspaper pages, Cobb Life Magazine and Cobb Business Journal. Marietta Daily Journal’s Life & Style pages appear on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Cobb Life is a glossy magazine that publishes six times per year and profiles the people, places, entertainment opportunities and events of Cobb County, Georgia. Cobb Business Journal is a monthly newsprint tabloid that chronicles the dynamic business community in Cobb. For all publications, the editor will plan, produce and coordinate content for each edition and work with a group of freelance writers and photographers. Writing and some photography is required. The editor also works closely with graphic artists and paginators in designing the products. While some work can be done remotely, the position requires some office time, and coverage of local events.
