We are seeking a talented and passionate General Assignment Reporter / Content Curator to join our news organization on the Audience Development Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing high-quality news stories and content, as well as curating and posting on social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

Write news stories and content that are engaging, accurate, informative, and rapid.
Publish and promote content on social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Monitor news wires, social media, and other sources to identify high-impact stories and trends that are relevant to our audience.
Pitch story ideas and work with editors and other members of the editorial team to develop new angles and angles to existing stories.
Ensure that all content is optimized for SEO and social media.
Collaborate with other departments, such as design and development, to ensure that all content is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for different platforms.
