Multimedia Editor

The Nation is hiring a Multimedia Editor to create powerful visual and audio journalism for the leading American progressive media company. The Multimedia Editor works with Senior Editors to create and produce creative and provocative content for The Nation’s digital and social presence across a variety of platforms including TheNation.com, YouTube, podcast platforms, and social media. This is a creative position that will be given the opportunity to leverage audio and visual storytelling and platforms to grow the Nation’s audience and expand our reach. The ideal candidate has been a video or podcast producer (ideally you’ve done both) with a proven track record of turning ideas into reality through filming, recording, editing, and producing. You should be well-versed in web, mobile and social media formats, with 2+ years of experience and a varied portfolio of work.
