Head of Multimedia

The National, the Middle East's leading quality news organisation, is looking for a head of multimedia to run our expanding global video and audio department. We are looking for an experienced multimedia operator with a deep understanding of both the journalistic and technical sides of producing video and podcasts. Proven management skills are required to run our 20-strong team, based in Abu Dhabi but with bureaux in London, Washington DC, Beirut and Cairo. Candidates should have experience running a significant multimedia team and a record of growing audiences. Sound editorial judgement is required and knowledge of Middle East politics, diplomacy, culture and society is a must.
