Albany Reporter

The Metro desk of The New York Times is looking for an investigative reporter for its Albany bureau. This reporter would be part of the team covering state government and politics, the 2022 legislative session and governor's race. In addition, they would be tasked with short and middle-range investigations into the workings of the state's vast bureaucracy and the capital's lobbying and campaign fundraising cultures. The reporter would be expected to live in the Albany region. This position is represented by the NewsGuild of NY
