The Real estate desk is looking for a California-based reporter to cover real estate trends in northern and southern California that resonate nationally. You should be able to write about market changes that affect people who are trying to buy or rent a home, tell us where the next trendy neighborhood in the Bay area or L.A. is going to be, and also describe the latest design trends in waterfront mansions. You’ll write news stories -- like word that Jeff Bezos has decided to sell his $165-million mansions, profiles of people with interesting homes or tortured renovation tales, and come up with enterprise stories on how the pandemic has changed the way we live in our homes, our cities, our suburbs.
