The Real Estate desk is looking for an eager, nimble and talented reporter with a knack for creatively turning a phrase to cover real estate from the inside out. This feature reporter must tackle a wide variety of stories about homebuyers and renters and the furnishings they treasure, writing with verve and flair. This reporter will hold an industry accountable but will also delight and surprise readers with inspirational and aspirational stories. The ideal candidate should be as comfortable writing about pillows and mirrors as writing about predatory lending and mortgages. The reporter will be based in New York but should not be limited by geography when spotting trends and developing stories that resonate with a broad audience.
