Deputy Editor for News and Features

The Deputy Editor for News and Features will assign and edit both breaking news and enterprise stories on the publishing industry and literary world; work in multi-platform formats; spot developing news on both mainstream and social media and jump on it with smart and creative ideas for coverage; and work with other desks on investigative stories related to books. This editor will also be focused on international stories, working with both freelancers and reporters on desks abroad. Edit all non-review features and profiles related to books that appear outside the Book Review, whether digital-only, in the daily Arts section, A1, Weekend Arts, Business Day, Styles or Sunday Business.
