Graphics Multimedia Editor, Data Specialist

The Times Graphics team is looking for an experienced reporter and data specialist who can gather and analyze data to develop new lines of reporting for graphics and visual stories Data underpins all of our work, and a creative approach to gathering and analyzing data has played a role in many of our high-profile news and investigative projects in recent years, including an analysis of Tucker Carlson’s show, a look at the use of force by the Minneapolis police, a series of visualizations showing the vaccine disparities by race and many others. This graphics editor will report, analyze data and develop databases to create a variety of visualizations. You will work with fellow reporters, designers and editors to create visual projects for breaking news and enterprise subjects on all platforms. You will pursue original reporting and will be expected to exercise journalistic and visual judgment to ensure the accuracy and clarity of their work.
