Staff Photo Editor, International

The NYT Co seeks Staff Photo Editor, International for NYC office to conceive of, pitch, develop, edit, pace and build visual stories. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Photography or Photojournalism and 5 years of experience in a newsroom. Must have experience in/with: Directing photojournalists in high-risk conflict zones and published examples of projects requiring photo research. Must have knowledge of digital tools and programs, including content management systems, Photoshop, PhotoMechanic, video editing tools, FTP, and social media platforms. Must be able to provide extensive published examples of assigned photography and significant experience working with internationally based photojournalists in the field in a variety of circumstances.
