We’re seeking a Reporter to help build our catalogue of food and activity guides. You should know this city well, including all the neighborhoods, cultures, and backgrounds that make this city so diverse, and want to help deepen our audience’s connection to the city and region. The City & Culture Service Reporter will work with our Service Editor and Senior Service Editor to create resources for people who live here that make their lives better. You will help people explore and connect with the city and region in a way that’s lively, fun, representative, and accessible for all Philadelphians. Because our work spans a wide range of topics, you are comfortable working with a wide array of sources and experts to stretch beyond your own experiences. You understand what makes a guide clear and useful to a reader. You’re adept at writing clean, clear, and simple prose that breaks down complex information well, and producing stories that are both easy for readers to use and fun to read.
