The Philadelphia Inquirer is looking for journalism or communications majors who are juniors and seniors and have worked for their college publications. Prior internships at news outlets is a plus but not a requirement. What is most important is a commitment to -- and a passion for -- journalism as a profession. Unless otherwise noted, each intern will work for 9 weeks starting from June to August.
What You’ll Do
Visual/Photography: We seek visual interns who are interested in covering news, sports and entertainment and can produce great photography and video that tells the stories of our area. Bring a multimedia eye to photography assignments, capturing video and other forms of multimedia in addition to producing compelling still photos. Looking for a self-driven journalist who can conceive and execute creative visual story ideas.
