Freelance Political Reporter (Independent Contractor)

The Philadelphia Tribune Media Group is seeking to hire a freelance reporter to cover all issues associated with the 2023 Philadelphia mayoral race including polls, forums and overall mayoral campaign. The reporter will cover the mayoral race. In addition to print coverage, the special projects political reporter will also cover multimedia reports consisting of video and social media. This is a 1 (one) year assignment. You will be representing a newspaper with an unprecedented legacy within the region’s African-American community and also played a significant role in some of the most pivotal events within the last 100 years in African and American history.
