The Columbia region is a hub of state government that includes: the University of South Carolina; a growing restaurant and entertainment scene; and Lake Murray, a regional attraction for development and travelers. The coverage area features one of the state's most-heavily Democratic counties neighboring a dominant Republican county.We are looking for nimble reporters to cover government, education and other high-value news in South Carolina’s capital city.
