The Press Enterprise, a family-owned newspaper in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, is looking for a night news editor.
The successful candidate will head the night desk that lays out the paper, along with editing news coming in from reporters at meetings and breaking news.
We’re looking for someone with both pagination and people skills.
A journalism degree, along with one to two years laying out pages in Adobe InDesign, is required. Some experience supervising is preferred. Some weekend work is required. We offer health insurance and a 401(k) as part of our benefits package. As a bonus, life here in central Pennsylvania can be pretty great. We have easy access to outdoor pursuits from biking to kayaking to camping, but are also only about two hours from Philadelphia and New York.
