The Quad-City Times is seeking dynamic interns in news and photography for a 10-week paid summer internship. Here’s your chance to develop outstanding clips, get experience in a working newsroom and take your first steps in a career in professional journalism. We’re looking for self-starters ready to jump at breaking news, develop independent story ideas and bring new ideas to our team. Interns will work alongside professional journalists who will provide guidance, direction and support. Interns will receive customized training on topics such as how to develop sources, how to prioritize diversity and inclusion in news coverage and how to pitch a great story. They’ll also have access to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists who are part of the Lee Enterprises network of 77 news markets across the U.S.
