The Scarsdale Inquirer, a well-respected, weekly community newspaper in Westchester County, NY, seeks an experienced and versatile reporter with exceptional storytelling skills and an engaging writing style to join its award-winning editorial staff. This full-time job requires a hardworking individual who is adept at hard news and has a flair for features; is capable of cultivating sources and generating story ideas; can juggle multiple assignments, turn out a minimum of four byline stories a week and meet daily deadlines. Strong writing and reporting skills required. Some weekend assignments. Must have car and live in metro area, preferably Westchester.
