Reporter

The Smoky Mountain Times located in beautiful Byrson City, NC  has an opening for a reporter. The successful candidate will be active in reporting on local news. He/she will also have a strong working knowledge of AP style, be able to handle a camera and have a clean, clear writing style that can make even the most confusing story simple for readers to understand. A degree in journalism is required. We’re seeking reporters who understand community journalism and thrive in a team-based environment.
