Head of Communications

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Head of Communications to join our Communications department. In this role you’ll be responsible for supporting the business by helping to shape, lead and implement the Telegraph’s communications strategy. This is a fast paced role where you need to be adaptable to change with a rolling news agenda. You will be embedded in the business from our busy newsroom to the corporate functions. Alongside the Director of Communications you will lead on corporate comms, business transformation and supporting our successful subscription remit. You will take a proactive lead on driving the PR for the company and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop campaigns that position us as a leading multimedia business. From devising effective and creative communications strategies to implementation of plans, this role requires a passion for the media industry. We are looking for someone with digital experience who has strong relationships with broadcast and media journalists.
